Reflect on the movie “Renewal” that we watched in class. What impressed you about these religious groups? How does religion and spirituality relate to protecting the environment for us and future generations? How do your personal beliefs relate? How can religion and spirituality help us connect with nature?
These religious groups are hypocrites. They are all over this green conservationist movement now that it has been thrown into the limelight. The only reason that they are doing it is to gain members and further the income of the church. But, uh, I guess it excites religious fanatics to actually take a look at reality and protect it instead of just living this life as if the one in their next life is going to be so much better.
